CPS earns 'Certified Member’ status from CSIA
Control & Power Systems, Inc. (CPS) has achieved a Registered Member Level 1 (top level) Certification status with the CSIA (Control and Information System Integrators Association).

The stringent and comprehensive Standards and Practices audit required to obtain the certification guarantees that the System Integrator has reached the highest level of professional and technical excellence.

CSIA is a worldwide group of Systems Integrators and Associate Members who provide "Best of Class" automation solutions for industry. CSIA is in its second decade of serving the industry with programs to enhance the professionalism, skills, and good business practices of control system integrators. It is the largest such organization in North America. Its member-firms provide manufacturers with more than $1 billion annually in industrial automation systems, including $400 million of hardware and software automation products.

To achieve Level 1 Certification with the CSIA a systems integrator must successfully complete an extensive third party audit process that measures performance against its Best Practices and Benchmarks criteria in seven business areas - General Management, Human Resources, Project Management, Quality Management, Financial Management, Business Development and Technical Management.

Control System Integrators Association

The CSIA Best Practices and Benchmarks criteria program was developed in concurrence with Fortune 500 companies and others who use control and information system integrators' services, control manufacturers who often team up with these firms, and CSIA members. The Best Practices and Benchmarks process also serves as an ongoing "checks and balances" tool that control system integrators can use to evaluate and continuously improve their business.

Becoming one of 67 CSIA CERTIFIED Members in the United States and one of 82 worldwide, CPS stands among a very unique and privileged group of system integration firms who successfully demonstrated that their business practices meet or exceed industry standards and procedural requirements set by the Best Practices and Benchmarks put forth by the CSIA.
